365 days ago.. Atef yehia..

Graffiti - Atef yehia
Graffiti - Atef yehia

I wont tell a new story in this post, i just want to remember one the Egyptian Martyrs, not one of the famous ones, but what made him special for me is that he was a friend of mine.

Atef died after a long journey fighting against the bullet he took in his head during the protest took place last year in the memory of the Palestinian Nakba by the Israeli embassy in Giza-Egypt.

The protest that day last year 15-5-2012 was peaceful as usual but when the protesters asked the authorities to bring down the Israeli flag in respect to the Palestinian struggle and resistance the Egyptian army gone mad, started shooting protesters with tear gas, rubber bullets and live ammunition.. which broke through my friend's head from behind his right ear and gone out from above his right eye brow.

The damage happened to his brain was permanent, he lost all of his functions..
Atef was his mother's only boy with a passed away dad, you cannot imagine how miserable and depressed was this lady when she heard about her only son, What Atef had experienced in El-Kasr Einy hospital after his injury is indescribable.. the lack of respectful heath care and emergency treatment were disastrous.

Final words: presidential elections, Egypt 2012

Short notes about the upcoming presidential elections in Egypt.
My views from the last couple of weeks after studying the the actual weight and spread of every "real" candidate and the force supporting each.

First here's the elections experts and the most organized and widespread force in Egypt now; the Muslim Brotherhood who joined the rally in the last moment first by Mr. El-Shater and now by their candidate Dr. Mohamed Morsy, The MBs have the biggest amount of voters which will overcome the weakness of the candidate himself, and that's why you will not find that much voters from outside the 2 million MB members supporting Morsy.

Morsy Chanis
Morsy Chains days ago in cairo, the biggest human chain in Egypt, 51 KM.

In the second place comes El-Nour party, they announced their official support to Dr. Abo El-Fotouh days ago, and i thing they can do a good job in packing him and mobilizing people towards him, about the spread and and organizing they come in the second place right after Ikhwan.. The salafi party took long time to decide their destination in the presidential race after the cancellation of Hazem Abo Ismaiel due to the famous American Mama story.

The difference between Fotoh and Morsy in the nature of voters is that Fotoh has gained a wide sector from the left and right wing specially the people called "El-Baradie sons" after the withdrawal, But Morsy and the MB are losing votes because the last situations and the parliament performance, But it WONT affect them that much.

In my opinion Fotoh and Morsy are the most powerful candidates then comes Amr Mousa and Hamdeen Sabahy.

The last days showed a huge rising in Sabahy supporters just because of his Tv appearance, the sector Sabahy gained are the people who were looking for a leftist candidate who have a real chances not Khaled Aly who have no chance but i respect his move, Other thing about Mr.Sabahy is the weakness of his campaign on the real ground.

Another popular face in the election race is Mousa who have a widespread popularity but always countered by the negatie campaigns about him being an integral part of Mubarak's regime, his chance is quite big and his campaign is well organized on the ground.

Mr.Salem El-Awa have no real chance in my opinion according to his popularity between Egyptians, Maybe the negative campaigns against him are more powerful than his campaign, also he have no well organized forces behind him like Fotoh and Morsy who are also Islamist candidates.

Finally Ahmed Shafik who's the loyal servant to Mubarak, his regime and SCAF.. his existence in such conditions is suspicious for me specially after they made him pass the political segregation law.. but in real world maybe he has chances!

Finally we have to wait and see...

One of the most important turning points.. Mahalla!

Mahalla..

It's history goes back before the 6th of April 2008, but this date is special in a special way.

It's the city which inspired the Egyptians and certainly changed the the history of the Egyptian labor movement forever, Egyptian labor movement is full of struggles, fights, sacrifices and victories. But what makes Mahala special is that it came out of nowhere for some people who knew nothing about the social struggle in Egypt under the rule of the businessmen for years and years.

The workers of this city sculpted the it's name in many minds after that two day uprising against the increased prices and shortage of bread where they confronted Mubarak's troops and tanks, and in these moments some people knew that it's a matter of time till we witness the real revolution.

Thit is a magnificent example of the people realizing they are worth more, and must fight alongside each other, not against. Power to the Proletariat.

We've come a long way..

Game On or Off?!

(Photo: Internet)
Inside a political Organization like the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt you can find the man in charge who's usually the nice face for the media like Mohammed Badie who is the eighth General Guide (chairman) of the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood. , but always you will find the Rigid, tough and octopus-like man who control almost everything but from behind the closed doors like Mr.Khairat El-Shater who is an Egyptian engineer, businessman and Islamist political activist. And now He is the OFFICIAL Muslim Brotherhood's candidate for the Egyptian presidential election in 2012, From inside the the MB it's known that Khairat El-Shater is the most powerful man inside the 83 years old group, Otherwise he won't be the first MB candidate for presidency ever, which is historical!

Actually i don't understand the shock of some people specially internet activists from this announcement claiming that El-Shater himself stated before that the MB have NO any intentions for entering the presidential race earlier this year.. Anyway The idea that MB "promised" it would not run candidates not valid criticism, except internally -which is questionable because i don't trust Ikhwan Youth-. Blame those who believed them.

So this is the real start of the up coming game which appeared to the surface week ago, Nomination of El-Shater now is just the goal of the opposing statements between the MB and the SCAF which will make the MB introduce their candidate as the savior.

Despite these facts the situation in Egypt is not clear yet, specially in the presence of someone like Amr Moussa who will give SCAF the safe exit they want and the constitutional immunity for sure, and till now i can't see that Ikhwan is giving SCAF these features despite how they're acting the last months when they break up with the revolutionary side of Egypt.

So El-Shater showed up again on the Egyptian Political scene  after the revolution after he got amnesty by SCAF to get out of the prison, And directly after his release he started his project about the MB development in order to make the group stronger.

Of course the guy is amazing but after all he is amazing on the MB standards, and be sure when you hear a shocking news from the MB that he is behind that or at least he's a role in it, and it was clear specially after expelling Dr.Abo El-Fotoh from the MB when he announced about his intentions of running for presidency.

MB is not just a political reformist group at the age of 83 years old, It's developed over years to become a closed human society by the all means of the word, So a Father figure like El-Shater is not just a leader who may be left for a political dissenting opinion, for the most of Ikhwan youth it's much more deeper than that.

Talking about the gab between the MB leaders and the youth as it's something should be used against the MB is just ridiculous and it was very obvious just after few minutes of the announcement when many MB youth defected from Dr.Abo El-Fotoh campaign to El-Shater's campaign and this is because of the opacity of the guy.

A man like El-Shater is a man with a project who will do whatever it takes to make his dream real, specially after years of oppression and prison, and the project is obvious now.. MB take EVERYTHING.

How will Egyptian leftists deal with this news?
Till this moment i have no idea.. but we have to accept the fact that we have nothing to do except organizing the people not mobilizing them against the president they were waiting for since 11th of February 2011, most of Egyptians think that the Solution is the New president who will make their lives better which is not right of course.. because running the economy with the same minds "Pockets" will never change the file citizen financial status.

Do you think that it's a smart move? The announcement?
Will they break the rule saying that "An underground group like MB cannot live in real democratic atmosphere."?
Consider that they already having almost everything.. Constitution, Parliament...

New Show: The battle of the Beards and Tanks.

I'll leave the long introductions a side now because the issue is very obvious now, actually i may be the last one who started to talk about it or state an opinion which i don't have to be honest, So i'll tell you nothing but a new theory of my theories. **

As it appear to the public the underlying statement clashes between the ruling military and the Muslim Brotherhood from which Egyptian online activists started their jokes which really broke the silence and boredom of the current days in the Egyptian "Blogsphere", But all end to the same conclusion which is that they will leave MB alone to face the SCAF as a way of revenge from them as they did sold the youth many times to the regime.

Ok, enough comics!

Most of the traditional theories about how the ruling regimes work are based on the fact of if two Capital regimes faced each other none of them will lose anything but the confused people between them will be slaughtered if there is no real representative leadership for them to organize their struggle for better world, So this is simply what happened in many opinions in 1954 when the military ruling council suppressed the MBs as they asked for a share in the authority.

I can agree that the players have the same names now like they were in 1954 but there are many differences in the structure of both!

You cannot compare the Muslim Brotherhood now and 60 years ago, because Only the blind who will say that they didn't develop themselves, studied the game well and now they did get some gains from a revolution they refused to support from the beginning.. but add to this their hunger to power which blinded them and dragged them away from the people's demands to gain some demands for their minority in comparison to the masses may hit the streets looking for their share sooner or later.

What you can Compare is the state of the military regimes in 1954 and now and anyone can see that they are the same but with different names but the tools still the same: Tanks, Media, "Fake Good Intentions", etc..

We should learn from History but we should take these changes in consideration otherwise the whole struggle will go in vain.

Here is the way i think it will go:
-The famous 1954 Scenario will not repeat itself except in one case which is the deep stupidity from the MB side.
-I believe that the the whole issue is fake blackmailing between them both in order to sweep our sights from something going on or will happen in the back scenes.

But what if the MB will have a real clash with SCAF?
This question will be answered by days, but the sure thing is none of their loses both will be compared to the people's loss in case of the Leftist Groups didn't gain the people to their side to protect their struggle.

What if the MB didn't have the people's support facing the SCAF?
What if the MB embarrassed the SCAF with the people's support?

We can state millions of "What if" questions.. but i really deeply believe that it doesn't matter!

I hope you got it.. Right.

Here's one of the most descriptive images of the relation between SCAF and MB now by an Egyptian facebookers:

First time dslr user

One month ago it was the first time to put my hand on my first dslr camera (Canon 500D) but i for two weeks before i put my hands on it i was preparing myself for it and how i will deal with it specially because the first anniversary of the Egyptian revolution was days away..
I used to spend hours and hours in front of my computer checking youtube.com review videos and teaching videos..
I swear to god i was like a BIG donkey when i was watching these videos because most of them were extremely complicated and full of strange terminology.. but at the end of the day the only thing i understood was that this kind of photography is all about the LIGHT!
Yes the light.. it's as simple as the English alphabet.. even easier as the English alphabet consist of 26 letters but this consist of only 3 letters! (Shutter speed - Aperture - ISO) and if you knew the definition of each one of these you will be able to produce great shots.. believe me just try to make it as a homogeneous mix!
Don't bother yourself by comparing your camera with others because if you did so i can grantee that you will show us just lame photography and you will be blaming your poor camera!.. it was never about the equipment it's all about the man who is holding it..
Whatever the body you bought.. My advice: you’ve bought an expensive and rewarding piece of kit… Don’t just treat it like a point-and-shoot (on automatic settings). Invest in learning about exposure and always shoot RAW if you can (think of it as your digital negative)!
I know it's not easy not to panic especially when you take your toy out to a massive protest for the first time.. it happened to me when i was trying to be a pro in the million man march 25Th of January 2012.. but guess what!..  i just put the camera on the P mood and auto focus (AF) programs and started shooting whatever i see in front of me and i got good photos as a start i guess :) Check them here 25Jan and the rest of my photos here Sabry Khaled Photography
what i'm trying to say is make your life easier.. and dun think about all the crappy discussions about the different shooting moods and what is pro and what is not!..  so you don’t have to think so much about the settings when you are busy taking that shot.
I cant forget the great tip from one of my favorite photographers or my favorite teacher Hossam El-Hamalawy when he said "Don't be lazy and use the zooming capability in your lens.. just move your ass and get into the zone to get your shot"
Such a great advice!.. and after i used it i can grantee that anyone will use it will get a kicking ass shoots.
another tip from El-Hamalawy was about whether the photography is neutral or not.. the fact is that this kind of art is not neutral at all! because it reflects one eye's point of view.. so if you are trying to capture a portrait for a smiling happy man you can show the ugly side of the smile!
Another thing which is extremely important and will help you a lot is to take your camera out with you everywhere and be ready all the time and just press down your shutter button and capture the moment.. because when you are in the street it's the place where there will be always something happening for you to shoot so just get out there and spend lots of time shooting..
You should educate yourself about photography without a personal teacher.. be your own one!
Read about the Greatest photos in history and you will realize that they just came like that because the photographer was there and spent time and effort.. Read about the photography as science..
Believe me if you just relax when you hold your toy and make it one piece with your body avoiding zooming you will have a great shots!
I'm not saying that am a professional photographer as am away from being one.. but i just wanted to share a very interesting experience with you.. believe me you will have a lot of fun and you will be extremely happy when someone says "Nice one man!"

Good Luck.

It's happening.. Ikhwan?

For years The Muslim Brotherhood movement or group was fighting to take over the power in Egypt since they started they activity on the political scene 1928 when  in Egypt by the Islamic scholar and schoolteacher Hassan al-Banna, They depended on the political activism combined with the islamic charity work wich gave them a broad sector of supporters over years specially in a poor society like Egypt which force the people to hold on  any thing religious to overcome the brutality of daily life and suffer.

As we all know how the MB suffered from the authorities since their early beginning because their fight was against the suppression of the regime ruling Egypt years ago.. The funny thing is that MB members keep telling us -whether the leftists or any other movements- that they are the oldest struggler and they are more worthy than anyone to take over the power in Egypt, but they never chanted against Mubarak over the 30 years he killed and  imprisoned hundreds of them maybe thousandths..

Last year i talked about the secret agreement between the MB and SCAF but back then it was just a theory but now it's happening on the Ground.. check this post The secret Agreement

And now during the 1st. anniversary of the 1st spark of the Egyptian revolution and after the MB took over about half of the parliament, they are trying to show the world and the media that the huge million people marches happening every day now is just a way of celebration not a protests demanding bringing the SCAF to trials, the most famous chants nowadays in tahrir Square are directed against the MB stage when they turn on songs! using their huge loud speakers, Chants like "this is not a concert.. this is a revolution" and "sell sell sell the revolution Mr.Badei'"

Yesterday the 27th of January 2012, protesters in tahrir square got sick of the MBs activities and shameful actions which forced the people to chant against the parliament and the MB, even many people said that they were conned by the MB when they voted for them.

Here's the Video from Mosireen showing the reaction of the protesters against the MB stage performance yesterday.. check out the Video from here.. Tahrir's response to the Muslim Brotherhood

Now after MB -Ikhwan- is in power.. should we expect anything from them?
i think we shouldn't expect anything from them as they cheered for the SCAF in the 1st. session of the parliament, even they are asking for immunity to the SCAF generals in case they handle the power to civilians..
How hypocritical is that?!
Down with opportunism..

El-Nas Tv. ?!

Channel's logo. Nas is the Arabic of People.

Egyptian Islamic Salafi Tv. channel entered the Egyptian Media-Sphere few years ago..

During it's beginning, it's activities didn't concern with anything except the religious stuff, and like many other religious figures they had the power to attract people like the Egyptians who are always looking for the good part of life from them to escape from the ugly truth of their current diseased world and system and rely on the patience or waiting for a miracle to turn over their lives.

It's wasn't a great shock when most of the religious figures in Egypt took that sinful situation from the 25Th of January revolution, except those who were the first in the streets shoulder in shoulder with the youth and the people during the very early demonstrations all the Islamic and even the christian figures were calling for calming down the demonstrations till Mubarak leave after 6 months as he said during his second speech.

Not that Only the Salafi Nas channel shieks were anti-revolution from the beginning relying on the Old Islamic rule which forbids the disobedience of the ruler, due to they planted the trust in a wide sector of people during their years, some people complied to their point of view but because of the youth's resistance and patriotism  the revolution overthrew Mubarak.

It should be noted that the Groups of extremest Islamic movements are funded by the wahaby family in KSA.

But All of above is just the little history of this kind of Media.. Now after the Islamic movements like the Muslim brotherhood and the Salafies captured the majority in the parliament after Questionable elections of 2011, these Kinds of media started to represent the Political Islam views which is far away from the real Islam, starting from telling lies for the SCAF's sake depending on the hidden deal between them which is clear now to distort the image of the revolutionaries and the secular movements who have a great great history of struggle against the regime..

Islam is a religion of peace which was exposed to many misrepresentations through the last decade and now the radical malformed movements and parties like these in Egypt are an integral part of those campaigns.

Let's go deeper and see how the parliament changed their way.. Few days ago Dr.Bassem Yousef -the famous satirical tv show presenter- was invited by El-Nas channel for a talk show appearance and never showed.. because they canceled their invitation after the Rap song he presented in his weekly program criticizing the political performance of the MBs.

What i can understand from a situation like that is the new media we are waiting for won't be different from Maspero when it comes to the freedom of speech and accepting the other!.

Welcome to the new world..

Good intentions that could kill the revolution.

There is a great difference between being a revolutionary and being a reformist, but it's not a sin to be a reformist because everyone work for a better world according to his visions and convictions, but this may work when there is lack of the revolutionary momentum in the streets asking for a radical and immediate change of certain situation, but if this radical momentum existed so the reformatory efforts at this particular time will be wrong and may be considered as a sort of treason to the masses in the streets.

What i am talking about here is the latest reformist initiatives by many activists supposed to lead the revolution to the next step of success or at least to show the people the way to their victory not to kill the radical change in them by these Reformatory actions which proved their failure even before they start! like Masrena and the campaign preceded it which was "Buy the Egyptian".

The second one was a pathetic attempt from a capital regime to raise the economy and save the corrupt state from breakdown.

The first one aims to build a bridge between the revolutionaries and the normal people in an attempt to gain them but in the fact the timing of it proved that they want to withdraw the legitimacy from the rebels in the streets like what happened during the November uprising and Mohamed Mahmoud st. clashes when Some reformists called for the parliamentary elections and told the people that it is the only solution is a SCAF made parliament, not that only but the ridiculous was that they raised slogans saying "we will vote and return to the square!".

Another comment on "Masrena" campaign is the end result of their actions which will result in creating a generation of good looking politicians to withdraw the legitimacy from the poor and hard working rebels demanding the radical immediate change.
Here's a question  i need an answer to it:

What will "Masrena" do and the difference between them and the brilliant Tweetshare3 campaign?
In my opinion the second one is enough and more effective as they achieved a lot and their goal is to bring the people down to the streets when the square needs them through building real bridges with the people based on their demands not the organizer's demand!
"Masrena doesn't offer anything new, and refused to cooperate with us" said Dr.Ahmed Gamaleldin, one of Tweetshare3 activists.

Finally what i want to say is that we didn't revolted to accept the half-solutions, but these actions is reducing the roof of the people's demands and dreams, so Stop Them to keep our revolution alive.

Potential presidential candidate: Ahmed Shafiq - The stylish corrupt.

Ahmed Shafiq - Photo: internet
Jumped into the political scene at critical moments in the Egyptian history after Former president Mubarak appointed him as a Prime Minister after Nazef's lay off, he was an integral part of the negotiations between the political figures of Tahrir square youth and the government before Mubarak step down in 11th Feb. 2011.

State Media and Other system dogs played an important role in presenting Shafiq -also known as El-Blover- to the public as the Rescuer who will take Egypt to the next level of visionary democracy and as the only clear choice in front of them which really worked with some of Mubarak supporters, Also we shouldn't forget how Shafiq made fun of Tahrir square protesters when he mentioned that he might give them candy and flowers as an apology after the bloody Wednesday aka Camel battle which none have no doubt that Shafiq had an important role in it after he promised to protect the protesters.

They used the New Airport for Shafiq's propaganda without reference to the massive corrupt crimes he committed before starting the project of Renewal of the Airport -when he was on the head of Egypt-Air and the ministry of civil aviation- when he assigned the task to some of his business men friends secretly using the DIRECT ORDER! but for the public it was know that it was assigned to international companies, not that only! None mentioned the huge losses incurred by the state due to these suspicious deals.

One of his suspicious deals was the selling planes owned by Egypt-Air using "operational purchase" system which depends on Egypt-Air's assets, which is another crime to be added to his list.

Not only the fake successful career of Shafiq as a civilian which was exploited by the regime to convince the public with him, They used his military career as a former Army general who was on the head of the Air forces and took a part in The war of October against Israel, So at this particular time of the revolution none had doubts towards the Army and it's generals because of the lie powered by the media of "People and Army are one hand".

Shafiq was forced to step down by the revolution after Mubarak stepped down and remained silent till he appeared at Imbaba during an electoral conference where some of his supporters started a fight with some of revolutionaries and ended the conference.

I think it's obvious NOW that Shafiq is SCAF's Presidential candidate and they will support him whatever it takes to make him the president to complete their scheme of controlling Egypt!.

Regardless of the name, I believe that it's possible

Yes it's possible and that's why i believe in it regardless how many people say that it's extremely utopian which won't exist on earth, but why not?

Few days after today it will be the 1st anniversary of the first spark of the Egyptian great uprising of the 25th of January 2011, so the debates and expectations about how would that day be a turning point in our history just like the same one year ago are enormous.

Egyptian youth from different political ideologies couldn't agree on one expected scenario for the day, some said that it will be a normal celebration may turn into a million people protest in Tahrir square "the symbol of the Egyptian revolution" and they are the people who are afraid from building expectations may not meet the reality on the streets that day, The optimistic team didn't draw a scenario but they keep saying that we have to wait and see what the people really want from that day!

I have no definite scenario too, and sometimes i think that it will be a normal protest like what we used to see every Friday last year, but this doesn't mean a black look! and i hope to be wrong.

I believe in people's power and need to the radical change but how? and when? .. these are the questions!

Last year i was so proud every time i say "I have faith in this nation" and every time they proved how wrong were those who had a black looks about a revolution gone in vain.. "i think it was obvious during Mohamed Mahmoud uprising!,

But this time will be a little bit different from the last times because every phase in this "on-going" revolution is special in nature and has it's own perspectives.

So this time i think we will see the real uprising when the poor and the hard-working people have a superior position in the scene after they feel that the system still the same specially when it comes to the interests!

It was clear how the youth of the poor areas started to take over the scene in the front lines of Mohamed Mahmoud street during the November uprising just because they felt that their security is threatened and security is one of many demands and needs that no man can live without specially when you are poor because you have nothing but it, and the by the same way they will be in the front lines of any upcoming battle when they feel that it will bring them a profit!

I will make it more clear, They will be there when they new parliament fails to meet the people's simple demands of minimum level of social security! the revolution demanded a year ago..

It will happen sooner or later, it's a matter of believe, specially during the the non-stop crises this capital regime facing which affect the minimum requirements of people's daily life demands! which will motivate people against the whole regime one time and forever and this why i will keep saying that the socialist revolution is gonna happen sooner or later but i know that some is a little bit allergic to the term "socialist revolution" despite the simple demands of the revolution since day one are the main pillars of a socialist state which were " Freedom, Bread, Social Justice" so it will..

Finally, Another 25Jan is possible! and A SOCIALIST REVOLUTION is possible too.

Short movie: Hidden hands? - أيادي خفيه ؟

This simple short movie shows what is happening in Egypt since the 11th of February 2011 till now.
Shows how is SCAF dealing with the "Couch Party" -people with no political alliance or who only sit on their couches watching the state media- and the Revolutionaries.
SCAF with the power of controlling the media and the trust based on fear of instability they planted through the "transitional" period succeeded to break the bond or even weakening it which was between the revolutionaries and the rest of the people using the Famous disgusting theory of the 3rd factor and the hidden hands which is SCAF themselves!
Enjoy it!
تضرب بقوة تضرب بكثرة تضرب يمينا تضرب يسارا تتوغل هنا وهناك وفي كل اتجاه ...انها الايدي الخفية ...انه الطرف التالت ؟؟!

Just Voted

My electoral card from inside the polling station - Down with the scaf, Down with tantawy, elections wont get the martyr's right back, down with the opportunists - ..

Yes, This is my ELECTORAL card for 2011 coming to us by SCAF.
I did invalidate my vote as you see in the photo above, because i am convinced that any elections or any parliaments won't make the social revolution i'm aiming for after our revolution.
It's surprising how many revolutionaries who proved to me that they are not !
Because the real revolutionary is not the one who can accept the half solutions ! and that what some political forces did when they claimed that they can take Tahrir to the parliament !
Can you tell me when and where any revolutionary demands achieved through a military parliament ?
Of course it never happened !
I won't blame the voters who for the first time in the Egyptian history felt that their electoral voices will count, hit the streets for the polling stations and voted ,No i will blame the politicians who played this dirty game according to the SCAF's rules and agreed to be a part of the Game.
The election is a crime.

Egypt is not Tunisia

We all remember this, we remember how many times we heard it while we were dreaming of the revolution, we remember how it was a great motive to prove to the whole world that we can!,11 months ago we showed the world how wrong is this when we revolted and forced Mubarak to step down.

Away from the revolutionary romantic feelings the revolution isn't over yet because it's a lifetime experience and process, so the revolution didn't stopped in Egypt or even in Tunisia in order to defeat the counter-revolution which till short time ago the of the same nature, but due to the cultural, economical and political differences between the two countries the scene now is totally different.

It wasn't a surprise for the two nations that the Islamic movements is that strong economically or regulatory.

But in Tunisia the governing controls were much obvious and supported by fairly strong secular groups whether they are liberals or leftists groups so the civil state wasn't negotiable like here in

Egypt where the extremist Islamic movements "Salafists" are calling for an Islamic Theocratic state in order to influence the people or the great sector of them by the religious campaigns which will guarantee the security of the SCAF from being questioned and keeping all their dark secrets about the regime, so it was obvious that they used the liberal, Islamic, leftist-reformatory forces and the media system dogs to reach their goal.

At the same time Egypt is worried about the identity of the state Tunisia finished the transformation period safely and it's obvious if you noticed the amount of violence in both countries since Mubarak and BinAly stepped down, Tunisia reached to the presidential elections while Egyptians are waiting for the SCAF to decide when and how they will elect the president.

Another very important difference between them is the strength of the leftist groups or parties which in Tunisia forced the Islamic movements to put a line for their dreams!

But in Egypt it's a little different, as the Egyptian leftists are weak in number and support by the people due to the reduced awareness and suppression they were subjected to the years before the revolution, but the good thing is that the Egyptian leftism is gaining much power since the revolution of the 25th of January but still have time in front of them to lead the political scene in Egypt specially after some leftist groups allied the SCAF in their elections which did weakened the movement again but i think it's good to know who is with you and who is not earlier to build a strong movement.

So Egypt is not Tunisia.
