Final words: presidential elections, Egypt 2012

Short notes about the upcoming presidential elections in Egypt.
My views from the last couple of weeks after studying the the actual weight and spread of every "real" candidate and the force supporting each.

First here's the elections experts and the most organized and widespread force in Egypt now; the Muslim Brotherhood who joined the rally in the last moment first by Mr. El-Shater and now by their candidate Dr. Mohamed Morsy, The MBs have the biggest amount of voters which will overcome the weakness of the candidate himself, and that's why you will not find that much voters from outside the 2 million MB members supporting Morsy.

In the second place comes El-Nour party, they announced their official support to Dr. Abo El-Fotouh days ago, and i thing they can do a good job in packing him and mobilizing people towards him, about the spread and and organizing they come in the second place right after Ikhwan.. The salafi party took long time to decide their destination in the presidential race after the cancellation of Hazem Abo Ismaiel due to the famous American Mama story.

The difference between Fotoh and Morsy in the nature of voters is that Fotoh has gained a wide sector from the left and right wing specially the people called "El-Baradie sons" after the withdrawal, But Morsy and the MB are losing votes because the last situations and the parliament performance, But it WONT affect them that much.

In my opinion Fotoh and Morsy are the most powerful candidates then comes Amr Mousa and Hamdeen Sabahy.

The last days showed a huge rising in Sabahy supporters just because of his Tv appearance, the sector Sabahy gained are the people who were looking for a leftist candidate who have a real chances not Khaled Aly who have no chance but i respect his move, Other thing about Mr.Sabahy is the weakness of his campaign on the real ground.

Another popular face in the election race is Mousa who have a widespread popularity but always countered by the negatie campaigns about him being an integral part of Mubarak's regime, his chance is quite big and his campaign is well organized on the ground.

Mr.Salem El-Awa have no real chance in my opinion according to his popularity between Egyptians, Maybe the negative campaigns against him are more powerful than his campaign, also he have no well organized forces behind him like Fotoh and Morsy who are also Islamist candidates.

Finally Ahmed Shafik who's the loyal servant to Mubarak, his regime and SCAF.. his existence in such conditions is suspicious for me specially after they made him pass the political segregation law.. but in real world maybe he has chances!

Finally we have to wait and see...

The thin line

Between every word and it's opposing there is a thin line separates them, Not all of us can really distinguish this thin line which crossing it sometimes can cost a life, it's that thin line between being smart and being stupid, between being good and being naive.
It's that thin line between being a revolutionary and being a jerk !

Revolution is an act of love, and the first motivation is always the feelings against obsession, injustice and humiliation.
Can you really control you feelings 24/7 ?  Answer is NO

But being in a place in which your decision will affect others decisions should have the power to change it and controlling your feelings and make your mind take control of the situation.

When you compare the field status to other historic events you shouldn't ignore the historic, cultural, geographic and psychological differences between people and cultures so here's the thing "Compare what is Comparable".

For some of us who stick to one Theory through out their whole life i want to tell them that there is a thin line between believing in the theory as a possible way to make the world better and mania and being a slave to the theory and this is possible after a long time may be ages of oppression but on the other hand the ages of the oppression can make the fighter more open minded, smart enough to be flexible and adapt himself and his theories to the right situation in the right time.

The theory is like the desert or the base of a still undefined building so without the life experience it will remain a barren desert or an undefined high building, that experience gained by two ways the first one will take a long time to be understood through the battles man enters every day ! and in the end of each one of them the real revolutionary should learn from his mistakes first then to look into the benefits he gained from that daily struggle, the second one is much easier in which the man should learn from others experiences very well and start to "Compare what is Comparable"

Revolution is radical in nature, but even radicalism should have protective boundaries when your radicalism will affect others specially when they depend on you and trust your decisions.
In my opinion a true revolutionary is the one who can say that he's weak when he's weak and need a break to rearrange his arms.

Taking the right decision in the right time isn't an easy job actually but it could be easy when the reasonable on the ground has the sight of leading the people to the profitable area.

In a revolution there are many opposite actions and principles like being radical and reasonable in the same time ! but the true revolutionary is the one who can manage all those fighting feelings inside him and make them work in a harmonious way for the good of his people and himself.

Never give up your principles but make sure to choose the right one in the right time, and it's never too late, so Revolt !

Is this RADICALISM ?

I always say that some human right defenders have to understand the term " human being " properly before they start making noise about it.
None of us is an angel.
I am angry, cool, chaotic, afraid, crazy, smart, stupid, organized, rushing, moderate, loving, unwilling, selfish, bored, careless, careful, slowing, absurd, artist, Altruism, secret, sad, happy, depressed, wise, cyclonic, free, handcuffed, injured, light, darkness, perfect, the best, the worst, fugitive, worrier .... i am a human being, i am all that and more.
what is the difference between MAN and ROBOTS ?
i will tell you,
Robots don't have feelings but men do, both of them are making decisions and here comes the big difference the robots have something called database and the man also ! but the database when we talk about robots is CONSTANT and nothing can affect the final action coming out from the robot except the constant database information no matter how the weather is for example or how the robot feel towards the "thing" it ordered by the central processing unit based on the previous installed constant database; because they don't feel ! they don't feel angry, happy, sad, humiliated, frustrated ... etc , one more fact about them that they will never be affected by any outside effects.
But it will be totally different if we will talk about man's database and central processing unite because the man can be easily affected by any means around him and when you ask yourself why ? i will answer > because i feel ! if someone teased me may be i 'll be angry but may be not, who knows ? we are unpredictable .. -imagine that if we were predictable so why we live our life ? - i have brain which is my central processing unit, it do analysis, give orders and options ! all the time 24/7 .. but is it really works 24/7 ?
The MIND is the moral function of the brain which works on gathering the information and giving the orders and this is the part of us which concerned with the thing called "feelings" which turn to be "motivations" of the action will be acted whatever they are nice Or nasty ! so the Mind work 24/7 for real but on many different levels .. the human mind do this in a perfect harmonic way making us unable to differentiate on which level we are now but sometimes a conflict between the these levels happen ! and this is what we always name it "unpredictable" actions and 90% of them are totally different from what we really are ! for example : many normal quite people who don't react violently in normal time can be very violent if they reached their peak ! they may kill .. yes it's that simple.
we are the people who say "stay away from the polite one when he become angry" , It means that in this particular phase of the conflict we talked about between the different levels had just took a place ! where it blocked the wise channels or levels in our minds so we turn nasty, at these times we forgot all the facts in our life and our vision will be very very narrow focusing on the target whatever it is a revenge or any nasty action.
I am not trying to justify violence or any thing against the thing we call " Human Rights " but as i said before Judge the case from a human perspective then we can talk.
Again .. the words i am saying may be aren't applicable on many of us ! especially when they are in the cold water judging the issues from a bird eye view not the narrow horizontal view and i am not excluding them from the life equation ! i am showing the dark side of the equation when some human right defenders -even me- start attacking some people who harassed The " human being " called Ahmed Spider [who started an anti-revolution campaign called "Ded el tiar" -supported by the SCAF generals- in order to distort the image of some revolutionary faces and activists like Ghonim, alaa, and many others by invading our private lives and telling lies which really affected our image .. violating the privacy our personal life and more by being a direct cause of sending many of us behind bars just like he did with activist and blogger Alaa Abdel Fatah]
Unfortunately they call me a human right defender so i am against any mean of harassment and intimidation to anyone whatever his views, sex, color and religion. But because i was on the ground when one of my friends spitted on him -spider- and many others talked to him hardly even he was like a chick ! in the presence of his bodyguards and the activists were fewer in no. than them i will tell u the dark side which you don't know about the motivations ..
Imagine seeing the one who is the direct reason of dentition of one of your best friends and the one who is jumping on every Tv. station telling lies about you and violating your personal space in life ON AIR ! .. tell me wise-asses what you will do ! i can swear that many of us were wise enough not to beat him and we were just satisfied with showing him his real value and the thing he really deserves which is a spit on his bloody face !.. COME on people give me a break ! we all know human rights but when it comes to your life ,believe me you will just leave it alone as we all did ! and may be you will forget it at all.
In some situations like these when u lose control on your actions .. none has the right to tell you what should be done and what shouldn't after you have done ! .. and here's the Question ! is this Radicalism ?
i will answer "NO".   why ?
Because : the man who violate other people's life, reputation and rights doesn't deserve the rights we paying him !
May be it's Politically incorrect and a human right violation but in the end " the world is against me ... so i am against the world "
BE HUMAN IF YOU WANT TO BE TREATED LIKE A HUMAN

Abuse of FREEDOM

For ages we were living in a dictatorship here in Egypt, there were many concepts we didn't even know and the most important one of them was the word FREEDOM ..

Dictatorship not only the political way in which the governments had the power to govern without consent of those being governed, it was in every thing .. it made us - the people - imprisoned inside our minds and paralyze our thoughts, dreams even our emotions.

For ages the Egyptian society was imprisoned inside a dark room away from the outer world with all it's features ,But suddenly some of us found their way out !
when they saw what was happening outside that dark room, everyone created his own definition of the concept of freedom.

If u watched The Mummy - movie - you'll notice that the mummy was imprisoned for ages and ages but once it came again to life ! in our modern world .. it was like a stranger in a strange world .. nothing is the same .. it started acting in an abnormal way which didn't suit the world today but for the Blindfolded mummy it was normal ! .. why  ? simply > because it was blindfolded, again the mummy started to kill anyone come in it's way exploring that world ... Disturbance

Freedom stands for something greater than just the right to act however I choose it also stands for securing to everyone an equal opportunity for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Freedom stands for SECURITY, RESPECT, EQUALITY, RESPONSIBILITY

Freedom means more than just ‘free to do whatever I want’. Taken literally, that approach would produce anarchy every man, woman, and child for himself or herself. Fortunately, none of us has to live that way, .... why ? because we are living in the same society
This in not Contradiction, i mean that you have to act they way you see suitable for yourself as your actions don't negatively impact other people's Freedom and here remember well that freedom stand for S.,R.,E.,R.

For example :
Because freedom entails political equality, freedom can only logically entail as much legal rights as compatible with the same legal rights in others. In a free society, any one person cannot have so many legal rights that all other people could not logically have the same amount of legal rights.

To remain logically coherent, we must make note of that distinction between defense and offense in our definition of freedom, which I have done by defining freedom as the legal allowance of all people in a society to do whatever they want insofar as they do not offensively harm or coerce other people against those other people's wills.

In our society now there are people who are committing crimes in the name of freedom because of people who are misusing their freedom
we should adapt the concept of freedom to our society not just doing the process of [ copy & paste ]

Between Freedom and Radicalism their is a thin line !

Yes if u tried to reproduce the western culture here in Egypt with this type of society which put it's red lines without any influence from anybody put it's own believes and traditions it would be Radicalism ! because it will be against the people's wills.

Judge the Case from a human perspective then we can talk !

   Now in Egypt it's very normal after any torture accident to see a debate around the dead body ! or actually the owner of this dead body talking about was he a good person Or not ?! Before even mentioning the fact of him been tortured to death and as a traditional conclusion people are divided into two categories;

The 1st. If the man was a good man or let's be straight at this point and say if he was a well educated man with a good looking from a specified social level people will look to him being tortured as a misery and may they trigger a huge campaigns demanding REVENGE ! and you will hear a massive talk about human rights and stuff.
you next

   But what IF ? ...
what if this dead man was a poor, not educated, look like a crap, Or even a prisoner ..
in this case the group of people mentioned above will be divided into two categories !
the first will remain stick to their Principe which is :-
"NO TORTURE WHATEVER THE THE CIRCUMSTANCES AROUND THE CASE"
   Why ?
Because in our revolution we asked for HUMAN DIGNITY ! and EQUALITY between people no matter their color, religion, race, social level .. etc !

And now the 2nd. Group of people - point of view -  :
with a cold blood you will hear talks like
" oh, man he's a thug ! "
" he's a prisoner So how do you want him to be treated ? "
" thank god we getting threw with these creatures "
" i don't care "

For those who adopt this point of view of the second group i will ask them a Question :

Isn't the ( Thug, Poor, Crap looking, Prisoner ... etc ) a human being has the right to be treated with manners worth his humanity ?
What about his mother, sister, father, may be wife and kids ?
His friends ?
LIFE ?

In the 25Th of January demonstrations we were chanting " BREAD .. FREEDOM .. SOCIAL JUSTICE .. HUMAN DIGNITY " but now it's very obvious that many of us not familiar with the human dignity and justice.

Top : khaled saeed , Bottom : Essam Atta , before and after the revolution
One of the huge crimes of all times that Mubarak committed was the separation he planted between the social levels .. between the upper levels and the lower social levels ! and now we are harvesting what he and his regime planted over 30 years , i think we should trial him for creating such cold blooded creatures and the lack of humanity in them !

Whenever a torture accident .. i always ask my self a question !

What if KHALED SAEED was a taxi driver or a convicted criminal tortured to death ?

Yes ! khaled saeed the Icon of the egyptian revolution.
you know what !
i wouldn't be writing this post now !

During the Revolution we were ONE person , we all EGYPTIANS , we all HUMANS !

The last victim here is Essam Aly Atta who i talked about earlier in the last post and like any other torture victim he had his share in this silly ridiculous debate !
But now let's see how the MOI - ministry of internal - Egyptian police used him as a convicted criminal with a military trial which is against all the human perspectives, they posted on their Official Facebook page  a post mentioning a fake list of cases he did ! and here's the Post .. and through the comments you can see how they exploited Mubarak's crime i mentioned earlier to displace people's attention from the fact of the torture ! which was obvious when some friends saw it's marks on Essam's dead body and as usual we are waiting the fake forensic investigation result they will bring for us ! .. Everyday they bring us another martyr .. another Khaled Saeed .. so ! Wake the Fuck up Egyptians ! they are the same !

But this will not deviate me from the fact that none has the right to torture a human being even if he was a convicted criminal !
We need to rebuild the human culture when it comes to humanity and human rights !

During the revolution we were busy in the streets and the squares fighting for our freedom and forcing Mubarak to step down - notice that i said WE no i - but none imagined what happened in the prisons ! and this is a huge huge huge file full of Dark secrets .. but if that culture remains the same i can promise that none will even think of opening these secrets and dig up the graves of the truth except the few people who know ther real meaning of humanity ..
